About the role
Counter team member position at Fixins Soul Kitchen in Los Angeles, CA. Part-time, on-site role focusing on managing counter orders, ensuring quality and customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Process and assemble counter orders accurately, ensuring all items meet our quality standards.
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers placing counter orders, providing friendly and professional service.
- Carefully package and present each order to ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.
- Verify that all orders are complete, accurate, and at the correct temperature.
- Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and manage the demands of a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused with a passion for providing excellent service.
- Previous experience in food service is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handler’s Card and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification if required by law (Certifications differ per state).
