About the role

This role involves working on open-source tools for machine learning, focusing on defining user workflows, improving ML practices, and collaborating closely with product managers and the community. It requires deep learning experience and software engineering skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with technical product managers to define and enhance the user workflow of the DVC product.
  • Drive and develop the entry point ecosystem, such as dvclive, and other projects within the ML infrastructure tools.
  • Optimize internal data indexing, transfer, and data management tasks.
  • Implement improvements in the user experience of ML tools, making them more simple and effective for data scientists and ML engineers.

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience in deep learning.
  • Passion about improving ML teams' best practices and performance.
  • Strong communication skills to summarize and explain next steps.
  • Solid software engineering skills, quick learner, able to unblock the team.
