About the role

Participate and lead development efforts for the DVC product and ecosystem, focusing on cross-product features, open-source contribution, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Discuss, research & lead issues, features, and even products.
  • Be 100% hands on, drive large changes, and facilitate architecture discussions.
  • Write extensive code, documentation, and public updates.
  • Work directly with management and founders to translate vision into functionality.
  • Support and interact with the community via Github, Discord, forums, and demos.

Qualifications

  • Strong Python experience.
  • Experience building dev-tools and maintaining open source software.
  • Motivation and interest in devtools, ML, data science, storage, and data systems.
  • Remote work self-discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage large tasks and collaborate within Agile teams.
  • Open source contributions and project maintenance experience.
