About the role
Advanced Practice Clinician role at Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, joining a team delivering comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care across multiple Massachusetts sites (Boston, Marlborough, Springfield, Worcester) with telehealth options. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care, including contraception, STI care, gender-affirming hormone therapy, abortion care, and preventive services
- Conduct patient exams, procedures, and obtain informed consent
- Interpret lab data, prescribe treatments, and ensure follow-up care
- Offer medication abortion services and, depending on clinic needs, perform ultrasound, colposcopy, biopsies, and potentially LEEP
- Conduct preconception and menopause counseling
- Educate patients and supervise unlicensed staff during sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in clinical audits
Qualifications
- 2+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Master’s or Doctorate degree and current MA licensure as NP, CNM, or PA; CPR certified
- Strong commitment to providing the full range of sexual and reproductive health care; prior experience welcomed but not required
- Proficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Brazilian Portuguese highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and dedication to health equity
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to stay active throughout shifts
