About the role
Leadership opportunity for a DVM to join Castlegar Veterinary Hospital as Small Animal Veterinarian and Medical Director. Experienced Medical Directors preferred, or a leadership-minded veterinarian considered. Emphasis on preventative medicine, client education, and a team-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide small animal veterinary care as part of the clinical team
- Assume Medical Director responsibilities and leadership within the hospital
- Mentor team members and foster open, collaborative communication
- Prioritize preventative medicine and client education
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented culture and uphold high standards of client care
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
- Experience in leadership or mentoring desirable
- Strong communication skills, integrity, and a positive attitude
