About the role
Leadership opportunity in BC for a Mixed Animal DVM or Small Animal DVM to join Creston Veterinary Hospital as Medical Director & Veterinarian.
Responsibilities
- Lead medical team and mentor early-stage veterinarians
- Provide clinical veterinary services in mixed animal practice (approx. 70% Small Animal, 30% Large Animal including Dairy, with potential to build Equine caseload)
- Collaborate with multiple doctors, RVTs, and support staff to deliver patient care
- Oversee hospital operations and maintain high standards of practice
- Participate in ongoing professional development and CE activities
Qualifications
- Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine
- Experience in leadership or mentoring veterinarians preferred
- Exemplary communication skills and integrity
- Disposition toward leadership and positive attitude
- Experience with Small Animal and/or Mixed Animal practice; Small Animal & Equine DVMs welcome
