About the role

The Avionics Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs aircraft systems using test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Completes routine avionics installations and repairs on general aviation aircraft
  • Ensures proper care of customer property through all phases of work
  • Accurately completes required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
  • Continually keeps clean and organized work area including personal tool box
  • Meets or beats flat rates for assigned tasks
  • Understands and follows safety procedures, and utilizes support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
  • Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to next level
  • Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications

  • Minimum four (4) years' experience in performance of avionics modifications and installations on corporate / business aircraft or similar airframes
  • Owns basic hand tools to complete work (list will be provided)
  • FCC Certification is preferred
  • Airframe certification preferred
