Responsibilities
- Shipping high-quality software that delivers customer impact
- Looking beyond requirements to understand the problem
- Ship code frequently (multiple times a week) with measurable customer impact
- Advocate of test-driven development or behaviour-driven development
- Work on large-scale distributed systems with proven scalability
- Communicate with key stakeholders and align with business objectives

- Contribute as a team player in a flat-hierarchy, honest atmosphere
Qualifications
- Experience with Kotlin or Java
- Experience building distributed systems at scale
- Product-focused engineering mindset
- Test-driven development practices
- Comfort operating in uncertainty and rapid change
- Collaborative problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies (Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS Aurora Postgres)
