About the role
Senior/Staff AI Research Engineer to build state-of-the-art audio models, training and evaluation tools, and scalable data pipelines. Focus on distributed model training, inference, benchmarking, and large-scale data collection/processing for speech-language models at scale.
Responsibilities
- Build software systems that support distributed model training, inference, and benchmarking.
- Develop and maintain pipelines for massive-scale data collection, storage, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Work on state-of-the-art audio models and evaluation tools.
- Iterate quickly on new and uncertain research directions within an industry-scale setting.
Qualifications
- Expertise in the Python ecosystem and popular ML libraries/tools (e.g., PyTorch).
- Experience writing robust and maintainable production-ready code.
- Comfort iterating quickly on new and uncertain research directions.
- 2+ years of experience training and/or fine-tuning transformer models with large-scale datasets of text, audio, image, and/or video data.
