About the role
Engineering leadership role for Attack Capital's Venture Studio Team, leading a multi-product, fast-paced engineering organization with focus on product scaling, architecture, and AI-powered development practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage 5-10 engineers (junior/mid-level) across multiple products
- Scale products from 100 to 10,000+ customers
- Plan and execute sprint cycles, backlog grooming, and roadmap alignment
- Perform code reviews that balance education with velocity
- Mentor engineers with 1:1 plans and skills development
- Coordinate distributed/remote teams
- Implement engineering metrics (velocity, cycle time, PR turnaround) and automated code quality gates
- Build and maintain documentation culture (ADRs, API docs, runbooks)
- Develop shared services architecture and API standardization across products
- Drive component library development for UI consistency
- Oversee AI-powered development practices including integration of LLM APIs and automation tools
Qualifications
- 6-8 years in fast-paced startups
- 2+ years leading teams
- Experience managing 5-10 engineers (especially junior/mid-level)
- Proven track record in scaling products and multi-product/platform environments
