About the role

Surge is hiring a Business Operations Manager to bridge key accounts and internal teams, leveraging platform knowledge to navigate customer conversations, communicate complex concepts, and identify growth opportunities in support of innovative ML companies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic engagement with key accounts, focusing on vendor operations teams, to understand goals and challenges while leveraging platform capabilities
  • Manage business development processes including RFPs, contract negotiations, and PO management to ensure smooth operations and compliance
  • Oversee invoice management and facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, translating technical concepts into business value and addressing issues not tied to specific projects

Qualifications

  • Experience in business operations, strategy, or management consulting, preferably in tech or AI companies, with a strong background in vendor management and corporate communications
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and manage diverse operational tasks
  • Strategic thinker with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment; Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree a plus
