About the role

Technical Program Manager at Surge will lead initiatives impacting products and customers, collaborating with engineering and operations to solve complex challenges in a fast-scaling, high-ambiguity environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and expand scalable systems, products, and processes to enhance customer support and value delivery, coordinating with engineering to implement necessary features.
  • Drive execution of multiple simultaneous, cross-functional projects and/or programs.
  • Effectively set timelines and manage teams to deadlines.
  • Interface with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in program management or related roles within high-performing product companies, with a proven track record of navigating ambiguity and executing complex projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills capable of influencing without authority, building cross-organizational support, cooperation and action.
  • Track record of successfully organizing, implementing and managing complex programs and projects.
  • Experience with trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and adapting to changing requirements.
  • Deep interest in AI systems; direct AI/ML experience valued but not required.
