About the role

Program Manager at Surge will lead initiatives impacting products and customers, drive cross-functional coordination, and establish scalable systems, processes, and collaboration across engineering and operations to deliver value.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and expand scalable systems, products, and processes to enhance customer support and value delivery, coordinating with engineering to implement necessary features.
  • Gather and leverage data-driven insights to improve customer models and our ability to consistently enhance their performance.
  • Contribute to cross-functional coordination and planning for complex projects.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the company to define, scope, and sequence major programs to scale our business.
  • Provide clear and transparent updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in program management or related roles within high-performing product companies, with a proven track record of navigating ambiguity and executing complex projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence without authority and build cross-organizational support.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance strategic priorities with rapid, high-quality execution.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments with the ability to bring order to chaos.
  • Deep interest in AI systems (direct AI/ML experience valued but not required).
