About the role

Scientific Advisor within Cradle’s Customer Success team focusing on biotherapeutic and antibody projects, translating customer scientific goals into platform objectives, and ensuring successful use of Cradle’s AI-guided protein design tools.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on identifying protein optimisation projects within customer portfolios that are best suited to the Cradle platform.
  • Translate scientific goals of predominantly biotherapeutics projects into objectives for the Cradle platform.
  • Deeply understand customer assays/workflows and relevant concepts, assays and workflows.
  • Ensure quality/formatting of customer data is suitable for machine learning
  • Train customers to use Cradle’s platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure platform outputs optimal protein designs for customers.
  • Present reports to help customers interpret and assess platform outputs and forecasts.
  • Provide recommendations to inform go/no-go decisions and devise effective project strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with immediate users and broader stakeholders within the customer organization.
  • Help existing customers identify further projects and collaborate with sales to enable these projects.
  • Measure and monitor customer satisfaction with product and service.
  • Proactively gather customer feedback and guide product development based on that feedback.

Qualifications

  • PhD in molecular biology, bioengineering, bioinformatics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in biopharma in a scientific role in protein engineering, focusing on antibodies, with experience in biophysical and/or functional assays.
  • Deep knowledge of the biopharmaceutical R&D process, methods, and tooling.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, actionable insights.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with scientists and business leaders.
