About the role

Internship in business operations focusing on investor queries, compliance/risk support, reporting, and process improvement within a hybrid Kuala Lumpur-based team at Wahed, a global fintech focused on ethical, Shariah-compliant financial products.

Responsibilities

  • Support various operational tasks, particularly in managing investor queries and assisting in compliance and risk-related work.
  • Generate weekly and periodic reports to track performance metrics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and document a folder management framework to improve file organization and retrieval across the business team.
  • Build and organize business processes, ensuring consistent and efficient workflows within the department.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations.
  • Prepare insightful reports and documentation based on thorough analysis.
  • Fulfill regular and ad-hoc duties.
