About the role

Aprio invites high-potential accounting students for Spring/Summer 2027 Tax and Audit internships in Portland, OR. The program offers on-the-job training with diverse client exposure, group volunteering projects, networking, and professional development within a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Tax Interns: responsible for delivery of tax services for multiple clients, tax planning, consulting, and compliance, interact with clients, work with partners on tax planning strategies, build relationships with middle to large-sized tax clients.
  • Audit Interns: work with credentialed audit teams to improve financial reporting, internal controls, evaluate accounting issues, stay ahead of new accounting regulations, help assess information quality for strategic decisions, work with middle to large-sized audit clients.

Qualifications

  • Accounting Major
  • GPA 3.0 or higher
  • Understanding and applying Excel skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively and personably with clients and co-workers
