Responsibilities
- Define and scale the next generation of automation at Retool, including workflows, integrations, and AI-driven agents.
- Lead the evolution of automation capabilities, expanding the platform beyond internal apps into end-to-end process orchestration.
- Form a point of view on AI-first automation and how intelligent systems should behave in production environments.
- Identify high-leverage product bets and drive them from concept through customer adoption.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and GTM teams to shape automation as a core pillar of Retool’s product strategy.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of product management experience, ideally with complex workflows, platforms, or developer-facing products.
- A point of view on AI-first automation and how intelligent systems should behave in production environments.
- Experience shipping complex, multi-step systems that integrate across services and tools.
- Comfort operating at a low level of abstraction with engineers on execution models, state management, and system reliability.
- Strong synthesis skills to distill customer signals and constraints into strategy.
- Bias toward action with ability to balance long-term vision and pragmatic 6–12 month execution.
- Collaborative, low-ego work style with ability to influence cross-functional partners and executives.
