About the role

UiPath is hiring a Principal Software Engineer for Site Reliability to design, build, and ship AI-powered SRE platform systems and capabilities. The role emphasizes treating platforms as products, driving adoption across multiple teams, and delivering reliable, scalable, and performant systems with measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, engineer, and build SRE platform systems and capabilities with cutting-edge AI, treating them as products that other engineering teams depend on in their critical path.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience architecting and engineering large-scale distributed applications and services with proven customer impact.
  • Experience building large-scale internal platforms adopted by 10+ teams in their critical path at a major company.
  • Proven ability to drive adoption by doing integrations, removing friction, and measuring success by outcomes.
  • Experience building and maintaining AI-powered applications in production.
  • Proficiency in one or more OO languages (C#, C++, Go, or Python) with strong CS fundamentals.
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, multithreading, synchronization, asynchronous patterns, and cloud programming.
  • Experience with service-oriented/microservice architectures, HTTP applications, and web services development.
  • Familiarity with agile development, CI/CD, and DevOps; ability to work with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience with production Kubernetes infrastructure is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and managed services (AKS, GKE, etc.) is required.
  • Experience with database backends (e.g., Azure SQL, CosmosDB, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, MongoDB, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
