About the role

Deployment Strategists turn hunches about data into real-world solutions by synthesizing data, product needs, and user workflows to enable scale and impact for customers across complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Go onsite and meet with customer analysts to understand the critical questions they need to answer and locate their biggest pain points
  • Identify relevant datasets through engagement with customer problems and workflows, and work with Forward Deployed Engineers to integrate data into a stable and extensible pipeline
  • Work with the customer to build bespoke workflows for new user groups
  • Lead training sessions to ensure the product meets user needs and is used broadly to impact operations
  • Present results and proposals to audiences from analysts to C-suite executives
  • Embed with Software Engineering and Product Design teams to incorporate field insights into cross-Palantir product offerings
  • Build and deliver demos to new and existing customers
  • Scope out potential engagements in new industries and expanding locations worldwide
  • Identify a Problem & Innovate with Data using Foundry and AIP, and submit a demo video showing the workflow (as part of Build to Apply)

Qualifications

  • Active US Security Clearance at or above the Top Secret level
  • Ability to travel 25 – 75% (location/team dependent)
  • Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, SQL) is a plus
