About the role

FDSE role at Palantir working directly with customers to design and implement data-driven solutions in high-stakes environments, with end-to-end ownership in small teams and on-site collaboration at client sites.

Responsibilities

  • Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
  • Discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, code a custom web app, engage with customer executives, and establish team strategy.

Qualifications

  • Active Security Clearance
  • Strong engineering background (preferred fields: Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science)
  • Analytical mindset with experience solving problems using data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • Experience or interest in working with large-scale data to solve business problems
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and adapt in rapidly changing environments
  • Ability to learn independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel as needed (25-50% preferred, varies by team/location)
  • Veterans encouraged to apply
