About the role

Technical Program Manager overseeing Harvey's highest-priority company programs across engineering, product, and business units; partners with leaders to convert ambiguity into clear plans and drive execution from scoping through launch with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of critical company programs, defining outcomes, scope, owners, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Lead programs across technical domains (e.g., AI infrastructure, capacity planning, model failover readiness, and experiments evaluating quality, latency, reliability, and cost).
  • Drive developer productivity programs (evaluating/scaling AI coding agent usage, improving test coverage and reliability, reducing CI/CD bottlenecks).
  • Drive product-facing programs (launching AI-powered workflows, coordinating cross-team capabilities, improving end-to-end product performance and reliability).
  • Surface risks and systemic gaps, resolve ownership gaps, and sequence dependencies across teams; unblock decisions with senior engineers and engineering managers.
  • Build a lightweight operating cadence; define and track program-specific metrics; ensure sustained impact post-launch.
  • Create alignment across functions and levels, translating complex technical issues into clear decisions and escalating risks as needed.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management delivering large, ambiguous programs across multiple teams and technical domains.
  • Strong technical judgment with ability to ramp across unfamiliar parts of the stack (infrastructure, AI systems, developer tooling, customer-facing apps).
  • Ability to read system designs, ask substantive questions, and reason through tradeoffs.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence engineering stakeholders (senior ICs, EMs, execs) without direct authority.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex tradeoffs for technical and cross-functional audiences.
  • Track record of building durable mechanisms (review forums, metrics, operating cadences).
  • Comfort with ambiguity and problem scoping.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
