Finance & BizOps, Strategic Partnerships
San Francisco$141.5k - $192kFull-timePosted 7mo ago
About the role
Strategic finance partner to Lovable's Partnerships organization, owning the financial architecture behind strategic alliances, structuring deals, pricing partnerships, building operational workflows, and driving performance measurement to determine which partnerships to pursue and how they’re structured.
Responsibilities
- Own partnership economics end-to-end. Build and own the models and business cases for partnerships, including pricing structures, unit economics, margin and compute cost implications, and scenario analyses. Evaluate partnerships on incrementality and long-term value creation, not just headline revenue.
- Build and run partnership operations at scale. Design and operationalize the processes that turn signed deals into shipped value: partner onboarding, billing flows, revenue share calculations, attribution tracking, invoicing, and ongoing reporting. Own the contract-to-cash workflow and ensure it's accurate, auditable, and scalable as the partnership portfolio grows.
- Lead deal structuring and negotiation support. Partner with deal leads to price and structure partnerships from early-stage evaluation through final term-sheet negotiation. Prepare executive-ready recommendations with clear tradeoffs, guardrails, and redlines. Identify recurring contract risks and build internal frameworks that enable the team to move fast without compromising financial discipline.
- Accelerate with AI: Use AI agents and automation to collapse the time between question and answer. You’re expected to continuously push what's possible, replacing manual processes with scalable infrastructure that moves at Lovable's speed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience. Strong candidates have a foundation in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting, combined with operational experience in strategic finance, partnerships finance, or deal operations at a high-growth AI or technology company.
- Direct experience structuring or evaluating partnerships with hyperscalers, LLM providers, or major platform companies is highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Technical skills: expert Excel modeling, comfortable with data (SQL, HEX, BI tools or equivalent). Familiarity with AI tools and agents to automate work. Preference for technical degrees or deep technical exposure.
