About the role

Design, build, and scale core backend systems to power Apiphany’s intelligence platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and scale low-latency backend services and APIs handling massive engineering data streams.
  • Ensure system security and compliance.
  • Architect systems for high availability and performance.
  • Shape long-term system architecture.
  • Mentor teammates and establish backend engineering best practices.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience designing and building distributed backend services in Python.
  • Experience building data-heavy, high-throughput systems focused on latency, performance, and reliability.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain RESTful APIs for large-scale applications.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with integrations with third-party APIs, SaaS tools, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability, and testing frameworks.
