About the role

Design, build, and refine Apiphany's web application focusing on high-quality UI components, data visualization, performance optimization, and establishing scalable frontend strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Implement high-quality UI components.
  • Build the next generation of data visualization.
  • Ensure optimal front-end performance.
  • Maintain best practices in front-end development.
  • Shape the long-term frontend strategy.
  • Mentor teammates and establish engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with design, backend, and ML engineers to create intuitive data streams.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.
  • Deep understanding of React internals, rendering performance, and state management patterns (Redux, Zustand, or similar).
  • Experience designing and developing data visualization dashboards using D3, visx, or equivalent frameworks.
  • Proven experience in frontend system design, architecture, and optimization.
  • Experience developing component libraries and design systems (Storybook or similar).
  • Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical discussions, and guiding long-term architectural decisions.
