About the role

Full-stack engineer to build experimentation, feature rollout, dynamic configuration, and analytics systems to support OpenAI product launches across multiple teams, with a Bellevue/Bellevue-area focus and in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Build product experiences and platform capabilities for experimentation, feature flags, dynamic configuration, rollout safety, and analytics.
  • Partner with product teams to understand launch workflows, measurement needs, and decision points, then turn those insights into durable platform features.
  • Improve SDK and server-side systems so experimentation and configuration are fast, reliable, and safe for high-scale OpenAI services.
  • Help teams across ChatGPT, Codex, model measurement, ads, business subscriptions, developer products, and infrastructure use Statsig effectively.
  • Design workflows that make it easier to create experiments, interpret results, monitor rollouts, and act quickly when a launch needs adjustment.
  • Contribute to the technical direction of a platform that must support rapid adoption, high availability, and increasingly sophisticated product and model evaluation needs.
  • Work from the Bellevue office with a team that values ownership, clear communication, and high-trust collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Strong full-stack engineering judgment and ability to build product surfaces atop platform and infrastructure constraints.
  • Care deeply about developer experience and can make experimentation concepts intuitive for product teams.
  • Experience integrating into large product development systems in a post-acquisition environment is a plus.
  • Interest in performance, reliability, and product quality across systems.
