About the role

Senior Machine Learning Engineer role focused on driving core ML models, data and training pipelines. Remote US & Canada, end-to-end ownership of projects with strong collaboration and ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive core ML models and underlying data and training pipelines from inception to delivery
  • Own projects end-to-end and beyond, collaborating with peers and stakeholders
  • Explain complex ML concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute workflows with peers and stakeholders
  • Be responsible for your domain of expertise on projects from inception to delivery and beyond

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or related quantitative field with end-to-end ML product delivery
  • Expert knowledge of statistical modeling and ML methods including Classical ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Anomaly Detection
  • Proficiency in experimental design, hypothesis testing, and evaluating model performance
  • Proven track record of building and deploying scalable ML solutions in production, ideally using Kubernetes and GCP
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, with production-ready code, and ability to write optimized SQL for complex datasets
  • Mastery of optimized SQL and experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Beam) and data lakehouse formats (BigQuery, Snowflake, Iceberg, Parquet)
  • Ability to translate complex architectures and ML concepts for non-technical stakeholders
