About the role

Founding engineer role at Yarn, a stealth video AI startup developing agentic workflows and real-time collaboration between humans and AI for video editing. NYC-based, in-person, with strong equity and founder mindset expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Help build out our core agent workflows.
  • Add Figma-style real-time collaboration between humans and AI to our core editing.
  • Prototype new AI pipelines using frontier diffusion models, reasoning models, internal and external data, and evals.
  • Extend and optimize our server-side video/graphics rendering pipeline.
  • Write WebGL shaders for special FX and graphics.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering/full-stack roles (as indicated in the posting).
