About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Business Operations Associate in Costa Mesa, CA to support cross-functional, high-impact operational projects, solve messy problems, and drive data-driven improvements across multiple functions and business lines.

Responsibilities

  • Own operational projects end-to-end, from definition, to solutioning, to implementation, to clean transition of ownership.
  • Solve problems at the intersection of people, hardware, and software systems across inventory management, staffing & recruiting operations, asset-tracking in the field, and manufacturing data on quality issues.
  • Forward-deploy to new locations to stand up facilities and build relationships with customers, partners, contractors, government stakeholders, and prospective hires.
  • Partner with Strategic Real Estate, Global Defense, and Corporate Development on site selection, lease execution, facility buildout, tenders and proposals, localization planning, M&A diligence, and post-acquisition operational integration.
  • Work on strategic problems, providing structure to ambiguity and shepherding cross-functional groups toward informed decisions.
  • Work deeply within data and systems (ERP, MRP, HRIS, etc.), performing scrappy analyses to equip teams with insights.
  • Project manage across large, distributed groups of stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a management consulting, investment banking, internal strategy & operations, or business analyst role.
  • Strong agency and judgment to operate independently and escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to build trust across functions, cultures, and seniority levels.
  • Comfort with shifting between big-picture strategy, details, and execution.
  • Strong communication across a wide range of stakeholders and time zones; over-communication to maintain trust.
  • Self-aware and coachable; receptive to feedback and self-correction.
  • High ownership with capacity to juggle 2-3+ projects in parallel and report progress regularly.
