About the role

Anduril Industries is hiring a Mission Software Engineer focused on vehicle software within the AD&S Vehicle Software team, shipping foundational software for autonomous systems and flight-critical applications across concept to first flight and fleet operations. Active U.S. Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry
  • Develop foundational vehicle software stack for AD&S initiatives from early concept simulation to live operations and fleet management
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to build robust software for autonomous robotic systems
  • Develop software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis
  • Navigate complex systems and established code bases to deliver real-world impact

Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance (required)
  • Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
  • 3+ years programming in Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc.
  • Experience building data-intensive software solutions
  • Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and existing codebases
  • Desire to work on critical software with real-world impact
