About the role

Electrical Integration Engineer to join the AD&S Electrical Engineering Team in Costa Mesa, CA, developing high-reliability avionics, embedded processing, and power systems for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Collaborates across hardware, software, and mission autonomy to enable flight-critical electronics and flight testing in complex environments.

Responsibilities

  • Create support documentation to include block diagrams, ICD’s wiring interconnect diagrams throughout all phases of product development.
  • Build up and test of avionics system components through lab, ground, and flight tests
  • Manage concurrent involvement in multiple projects at various stages
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices
  • Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience designing and integrating electrical systems into aerospace vehicles or missiles
  • Proficient in designing electrical harnessing for rugged commercial, industrial, aerospace, or military applications
  • Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, RS422, RS232, MIL-STD-1553)
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
