About the role

Senior Procurement Engineer responsible for end-to-end supply chain, sourcing, and cost management for Anduril’s Intelligence & Space product hardware, including vendor onboarding, BOM management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Deep dive into engineering BOM with engineering to ensure parts are sourceable and procurable at target levels
  • Conduct supplier selection using approved list and onboard unique vendors for Space & Intelligence
  • Drive on-time delivery with innovative solutions to Space industry lead-times and constraints
  • Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development (concept scoping, trade-off analyses, should-cost models, joint design development, SOWs, design simulation)
  • Develop and consolidate manufacturing BOM to ramp production internally and with suppliers
  • Manage total cost of the program (NPI and mass production)
  • Value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility
  • Complete BOM risk assessment including alternate sourcing
  • Ensure completion of component qualifications ahead of production
  • Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and supplier rationalization
  • Lead cost engineering to converge bottom-up cost to product cost and maximize TCO
  • Manage ad-hoc cost issues (tariffs, import/export costs, cost inflation)
  • Manage supply issues to ensure on-time delivery at or below target cost

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
  • Domain expertise in value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at component/product level
  • Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance
  • Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time
  • Ability to relocate to onsite Costa Mesa, CA if not local
