About the role

Senior role focused on expediting qualification and implementation of electronic components designs with suppliers, optimizing for quality, efficiency, and cost from development through product lifecycle. Cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing to enable production flow and supplier readiness for NPIs and ramp-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage electrical commodities/subcategories (cables, harness, capacitors, connectors, PCB/PCBA, chips, etc.) to execute supplier production (NPI to full production) strategies across Anduril’s business lines
  • Be a force multiplier for the Supply Chain team and overall commodity strategy, demonstrating ownership, proactivity, technical excellence, creativity, self-direction, and courage
  • Vet Suppliers' production capabilities, factory layout, facilities, workforce for supplier inclusion in Approved Supplier List
  • Support Supply Chain Product Sourcing Engineers (PSE), Global Strategic Sourcing Management (GSS) and Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in ensuring Suppliers' understanding and adherence to part quality criteria set by SQE
  • Bring up new production tooling & lines, development at Supplier as needed, to ensure materials, processes & tools meet product performance, quality, and demand requirements
  • Own capacity expansion readiness and production ramp-up at Supplier
  • Establish and drive process performance and controls (SPC) reviews at Supplier
  • Identify and drive product and process improvements, factory layout optimization at Supplier sites to lower part cost, reduce supply risk, eliminate defects, and improve cycle time
  • Support SQE with root cause task force at Anduril by working with Supply Chain, Suppliers, and closing loop on corrective/preventive actions at Supplier

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
  • 6+ years of experience in supplier quality and industrialization within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with electronics manufacturing, SMT processing, GD&T
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
  • Ability to relocate to onsite in Costa Mesa, CA if not local
