About the role

Benefits Analyst responsible for leave administration, benefits guidance, and coordination with third-party leave administrator, with a focus on compliance and process improvements in Hawthorne, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding service for employees and managers during the leave process and respond to leave-related inquiries via email, phone, and in-person.
  • Promptly respond to inquiries from the third-party leave administrator and disability claims carrier.
  • Serve as liaison between third-party leave administrator, Legal, and HR Business Partners to address stakeholder concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave statutes and stay informed on relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Proactively identify, recommend, and implement leave process improvements.
  • Assist, advise, and counsel employees and dependents on day-to-day health and welfare benefit-related questions via multiple channels.
  • Perform additional duties including: health and welfare benefits and retirement plan administration, wellness initiatives and employee services, and workers’ compensation administration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of human resources experience in a generalist or benefits background
