About the role

Communications Lead responsible for coordinating outreach with communities, developing strategies to showcase SpaceX and affiliates’ positive impact, and supporting executives with communications and events in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide tactical public relations support, including logistical planning and execution, and maintain relationships with key community partners and stakeholders.
  • Develop communication strategies that generate public excitement about SpaceX and its affiliates’ mission and positive impact on surrounding communities.
  • Support SpaceX executives and other leaders during speaking engagements and events through training and preparation of presentations and assets.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support key initiatives.
  • Develop and implement effective communication programs in response to strategic priorities and crisis situations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in communications, events, or content development.
