About the role

Role focused on development, implementation, and operation of testing equipment and processes for high-volume PCB production to support Starlink's broadband network. Acts as a bridge between engineering, development, and production teams to ensure quality, reliability, and manufacturability of products.

Responsibilities

  • Complete standardized testing, root cause, analysis, and R&D projects
  • Understand data trends and the ability to debug hardware & software failure
  • Program, load, and operate automated equipment
  • Triage non-conforming product and drive resolution and preventative actions
  • Facilitate a close relationship with the engineering team during design, build, and test to provide design feedback; provide clear communication between the design engineering team and the production floor
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for yield, performance, and cost
  • Define maintenance and calibration schedules
  • Troubleshoot complex problems independently with minimal direction

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment; OR bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline

Required:Reading technical drawings, datasheets, and work instructionsProblem solving using first principles
Nice to have:Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical test equipmentPCB failure analysis and root cause analysisHands-on electro-mechanical skillsQuality tools (DOE, SPC, RCA, PFMEA, CFMEA)Flying probe / automated optical inspection experienceElectrical test fixture design and implementation
