About the role

Senior leader responsible for partnering with stakeholders to build and execute operational frameworks for Recruiting Operations (RecOps), focusing on process optimization, RecTech modernization, predictive talent intelligence, governance, and people leadership to enable scalable, high-velocity hiring at MongoDB.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the RecOps Team: Drive the vision and strategy for the CoreOps team, aligning roadmap with TA and business goals; manage three core sub-pillars and lead large-scale transformation initiatives
  • Own the TA Tooling Roadmap & RecTech Modernization: establish and oversee the TA technology stack and vendor relationships; manage tooling roadmap with Recruiting Product Manager; drive discovery, implementation, onboarding/offboarding, data-focused evaluation; hands-on experimentation with automations and AI in recruiting workflows
  • Champion Predictive Talent Intelligence: collaborate with People Analytics to enhance recruiting analytics; define success metrics; oversee long-term data integrity and self-service reporting; perform hands-on data manipulation and ad-hoc reporting using Google Sheets
  • Optimize Processes & Workflows: redesign core recruiting processes to improve operational rigor across the hiring lifecycle; partner with People Team to ensure seamless integration with other processes and systems
  • Drive Governance & Compliance: own TA policy and governance; define guidelines and oversight (e.g., Global Recruiting Policy, Approval Hierarchies, Data Privacy) ensuring compliance with laws (EEO/OFCCP)
  • Act as subject matter expert and strategic partner to lead operational projects with cross-functional teams; adapt solutions to evolving business needs
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the team; foster development and ensure alignment with overall TA strategy

Qualifications

  • 5+ years proven leadership experience in recruiting operations initiatives
  • 3+ years people management experience with strong coaching and development skills
  • Deep expertise with core recruiting technologies (e.g., Greenhouse, Gem, Metaview) and tooling roadmap management
  • Experience redesigning complex processes and aligning with People Team partners
  • Hands-on data fluency beyond BI tools; proficient in Google Sheets and formulas for ad-hoc reporting
  • Independent and autonomous execution focus with ownership of team deliverables
  • Familiarity with TA policy, governance, and compliance in global regulatory landscapes
  • Strong relationship-building and cross-functional influencing skills
