About the role

Role focused on owning the complete commercial motion from zero to one for Rippletide, building and scaling enterprise revenue with direct collaboration with founders. Not a territory AE; responsible for defining ICP, creating pipeline, opening strategic accounts, and turning early projects into recurring production revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Define and continuously sharpen the ICP.
  • Create pipeline rather than wait for it.
  • Open strategic enterprise accounts.
  • Run discovery with business and technical executives.
  • Convert early customer projects into recurring production revenue.
  • Own commercial strategy, negotiation, and close.
  • Build executive champions.
  • Determine messaging, entry points, and use cases that win.
  • Turn individual wins into a repeatable GTM motion.
  • Build the foundations for the future sales organisation.

Qualifications

  • Experience creating enterprise revenue where there was no established playbook.
  • Commercially autonomous and comfortable operating at founder level with senior executives.
  • Experience selling technical infrastructure, developer tools, security, data, or AI products is highly relevant.
  • Existing relationships with enterprise AI buyers and experience closing six-figure software deals are strong advantages.

Benefits

  • Target cash compensation: $125k base + $125k variable | $250k OTE
  • Target initial equity grant: 0.5-1.0%
  • 50/50 base and variable at target
  • Uncapped commission
  • Final compensation depends on experience and role scope
  • Equity grants subject to board approval and equity plan terms
