About the role

Product Operations Managers embed within core product teams to help ensure launches, early access, customer feedback, and operating-system level discipline across Anthropic’s product stack. They act as the connective tissue between Research, Product, and the market, enabling faster shipping and learning.

Responsibilities

  • Ship with confidence: Own launch readiness, maintain launch calendar, secure go/no-go with pre-read, Security, Safeguards, Legal, and Commercial sign-offs, run early access/beta programs with defined questions and retros, program manage new model launches with readiness goals, testing coverage, issue triage, and prompting changes.
  • Close the loop with users: Translate user feedback into prioritized signals mapped to the roadmap, integrate into shared feedback systems, and communicate outcomes to field, Support, and Research.
  • Run the team's operating system: Set team pace with planning and reviews, manage cross-team collaboration (Legal, Safeguards, Security, GTM), reduce reporting overhead, and fill gaps with embedded projects (e.g., Monthly Business Reviews)
  • Build with Claude: Develop Claude-powered triage and dashboards, create reusable patterns for ProdOps (launch checklists, EAP setup, lookbacks, deprecations) and contribute back to the team.

Qualifications

  • Owned an operational program end to end that a product team relied on to make decisions
  • Built a process from zero to one and scaled it, treating process as a product with users, metrics, and a happy path
  • Worked embedded with product leadership and can move a team without formal authority
  • Built with AI/ shipped Claude or other LLM-powered workflows, wrote prompts, iterated on outputs, and can describe model behavior with specifics
  • Direct experience managing evals, refining system prompts, and adapting harnesses to new models
  • Direct experience working with Cloud providers in partnership or GTM capacity
  • Commitment to safe deployment of AI; bonus for AI Safety and Safeguards experience
  • Bonus: Program managed model launches or model quality at an application-layer AI product; ran early access/beta or design-partner programs; product/TPM/strategy experience at startup or fast-growing company
