About the role

Oversee and own day-to-day site management of fast-paced, high-impact construction projects across SpaceX campuses, starting with Hawthorne campus. Lead and coordinate labor and contractor teams, manage schedules, safety, logistics, and project communications.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and own the day-to-day site management of a fast-paced, high-impact construction project, including: manage site logistics/operations, schedules, progress, and resource allocation; apply independent judgment to plan, supervise, and manage construction projects across SpaceX campuses; enforce SpaceX safety policies and drive safety culture with contractors and internal partners; daily field coordination and conflict resolution for contractors and internal partners; manage site logistics including deliveries, offloading, inventory, storage, and staging of materials; maintain jobsite cleanliness; maintain SWPP and regulatory compliance; create, enforce, and iterate schedules for workers and subcontractors with engineering and project management; maintain daily operations log and report to management; manage SpaceX construction assets (trailers, rental equipment); Oversee procurement and execution of specific projects: provide budgetary costs, gather proposals, assign contracts, develop final cost and schedule, implement controls; coordinate project implementation and status tracking; coordinate with end users and facilities for building operations and maintenance; manage night shift contracts as needed; make operational changes to meet deadlines and triage issues to engineering/project management; responsible for contractor badging & security.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in construction with experience managing employees on a construction site and contract labor.
