About the role

Harvey is seeking a Legal Innovation Partner to provide strategic counsel on AI transformation for law firms and in-house legal teams. The role involves advising on AI strategies, client policies, collaboration initiatives, and contributing to thought leadership and community-building within the legal AI space.

Responsibilities

  • Advise innovation and knowledge teams on AI transformation, including designing and executing AI strategies, client AI policies, rollout programs, and success measures.
  • Support innovation leaders in advancing firm and client collaboration.
  • Contribute to efforts to innovate the business of law and how legal services are delivered.
  • Advance Legal AI thought leadership, represent the community in industry forums, and publish analyses.
  • Foster a thriving innovation and knowledge community across law firms, professional organizations, and corporate teams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in a legal innovation role at a top-tier law firm, corporate legal team, or legal tech organization
  • Executive presence with CIOs/CKOs/CISOs and ability to translate between technical and legal/business audiences
  • Track record of shaping product direction or service design based on deep domain insight
  • Strong point of view on the direction of AI transformation in law firms and interest in guiding it for lawyers, clients, and firms
  • Exceptional communication skills—written thought pieces, conference speaking, and executive advising
