About the role

Technical Recruiter at SpaceX based in Cape Canaveral, FL. Responsible for full-desk recruiting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding for mission-critical positions, partnering with client groups, and guiding candidates through offers and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback
  • Screen candidates who apply to requisitions
  • Source candidates including passive candidates
  • Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews
  • Give tours to candidates before onsite
  • Attend interviews alongside client groups
  • Initiate offer process including background checks, negotiating offers, and extending letters
  • Coordinate candidate experience onsite and manage candidate pipeline
  • Attract, organize, and manage flow of talent for the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree
  • 2+ years of technical recruiting experience
  • 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience
  • Experience with in-house recruiting
  • Experience with high volume recruiting
  • Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers
  • Experience recruiting skilled labor
  • Full life cycle recruiting experience from sourcing to closing
  • Comfort with recruiting data review, evaluation, and reporting
  • Ability to distinguish top talent within respective fields
  • Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods (cold calling, networking events, targeted sourcing campaigns)
  • Ability to interface with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Ability to present candidates accurately without overselling and influence decisions as a talent expert
  • Ability to multi-task and operate with little direction while contributing to the team
