About the role

Forward Deployed Engineers who are deeply technical and articulate, able to design architectures for Fortune 500 customers, master the AI stack, and drive real-world AI actions with governance and security considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Technical Authority: Partner with AEs to lead technical discovery and evaluations with Head of AI, CTO, and Architect personas.
  • Build the "Art of the Possible": Design and build custom prototypes, PoCs, and reference architectures that show how infrastructure enables real-world AI actions.
  • Simplify the Complex: Turn abstract infrastructure, middleware, and API concepts into clear, value-driven solutions for customers.
  • Field-to-Product Loop: Funnel deep technical feedback to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap and empower prototyping that can become core platform features.
  • Drive Technical Wins: Navigate complex technical hurdles in deal cycles from $200K+ to seven figures.
  • Master the AI Stack: Stay at the bleeding edge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vector DBs and advise on broader AI strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Pre-Sales/Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or technical consultant who has sold highly technical infrastructure or an engineer ready to pivot into FDE.
  • Deep Integration & Systems Architecture Fluency across iPaaS, ETL/ELT, RPA, API gateways and service mesh.
  • Hands-on Technical Chops with APIs, SDKs, and coding in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Curiosity & Business Acumen to explain business impact and high-level concepts to executives without losing technical detail.
  • Evangelist Mindset: comfortable presenting, conference speaking, and creating technical content.
  • AI-Forward Mindset: actively use AI in daily workflows and eager to master agentic landscape.
