About the role

Legal leadership role supporting enterprise technology and startups GTM teams with drafting, negotiating, and scaling commercial agreements while growing the commercial legal team.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, with a primary focus on GTM/Sales agreements with enterprise technology customers and startups.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Go-to-Market leadership and teams to support deal velocity and provide practical legal guidance
  • Help build and maintain our commercial legal infrastructure, including contract templates, playbooks, and process improvements
  • Manage a team to support enterprise technology and startups segments
  • Identify and escalate legal risks appropriately while supporting business momentum
  • Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies

Qualifications

  • Hold a law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) and meet the local licensing requirements to work as in-house counsel where you'll be based
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, SaaS agreements, or technology transactions
  • Demonstrated people management experience, including hiring, developing, and leading attorneys or legal professionals
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate legal concepts for non-lawyer stakeholders
