About the role

Leader responsible for architecting Zoox's global scaling strategy and overseeing a 50+ person cross-functional Talent Acquisition organization, spanning from early career to executive search, with a data-driven, tech-enabled, and AI-supported approach.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Talent Architecture & Vision: Create and execute Zoox’s end-to-end talent strategy, including university programs, internal mobility, core industry, and executive recruiting.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Lead a high-performing cross-functional recruiting organization of at least 50+, with mentorship and continuous operational improvement.
  • Operational Scaling & Excellence: Engineer scalable talent processes from sourcing to offer delivery with a consistent candidate experience across all levels.
  • Talent Intelligence & Data Storytelling: Establish data-driven recruitment reporting and translate metrics into executive-ready narratives for workforce planning and sourcing optimization.
  • Technology Enablement & Innovation: Partner to evolve a scalable talent ecosystem and leverage AI to enhance efficiency while preserving high-impact human judgment.
  • Strategic Partnership & Executive Influence: Advise CEO and C-suite, aligning acquisition strategies with long-term workforce planning and business objectives.
  • Organizational Leadership: Contribute to the People Experience leadership team and company-wide PEx strategy.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of TA leadership experience, including 3+ years at Senior Director level leading 50+ team
  • Strategic execution of end-to-end talent strategies in a complex, high-growth technology environment (Autonomous Systems, AI/ML, Software & Hardware)
  • Change & Operational Leadership: data-driven, KPI/scorecard driven, with AI experience preferred
  • Executive presence and influencing skills with ability to present to C-level executives
  • Collaborative, cross-functional relationship-building across all functions to drive unified PEx strategy
  • Problem-solving in ambiguous, fast-paced settings with decisive action in evolving industry
  • Functional expertise in external technology talent markets and TA tech (e.g., VNDLY, Lever, Workday, ServiceNow)
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field
