About the role

Senior Data Analyst role focusing on surfacing insights across disciplines, guiding teams to leverage data with accurate, accessible information. Emphasis on playing games to understand products, translating stakeholder needs into data solutions, and bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Con found: surface insights from large telemetry data to uncover player relationships, feature usage trends, security threats, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve player and developer experience
  • Bridge between technical and non-technical teams and provide technical guidance
  • Translate stakeholder needs and context into requirements, tangible data solutions, and actionable business insights
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our games through hands-on playtime
  • Navigate ambiguity, iterate on solutions, and advocate for data-driven approaches

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience writing optimized SQL to build and analyze datasets and associated data resources (tables, views, stored procedures)
  • Experience unifying data from structured/unstructured sources (SQL, NoSQL, cache, blob storage, etc)
  • Proficiency conducting exploratory data analysis
  • Proficiency with a data visualization tool like Tableau or Looker
  • Deep understanding of data modeling, data quality practices, and cost-efficient storage architecture
  • Experience with Git and modern version control workflows
