About the role

Senior geological lead focused on Athabasca Basin uranium exploration, bridging field geology with AI/ML-driven targeting and guiding drill programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead field execution behind drill programs and integrate geological interpretation with data-driven targets.
  • Design, plan, and oversee drill programs and contractor management.
  • Work closely with science and ML teams to ground data-driven targets in real subsurface geology.
  • Manage diamond drilling contractors, assay labs, and geophysical service providers.
  • Contribute to developing unconformity-related uranium deposit models and understanding mineralization controls in the Athabasca Basin.
  • Travel regularly to support field operations and collaboration with the team.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of exploration geology experience, with Athabasca Basin uranium experience as a core part of your background
  • P.Geo. designation, registered or eligible for registration with APEGS
  • Track record on real exploration programs — drill program design, execution, and geological interpretation
  • Deep understanding of unconformity-related uranium deposit models and the geological controls on mineralization in the Athabasca
  • Experience managing diamond drilling contractors, assay labs, and geophysical service providers
  • Comfort working alongside data-driven and quantitative targeting methods; interest in how AI/ML can change exploration
