Internship role at Palantir in New York, NY. Two internship options: Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Intern and Software Engineer Intern, focusing on delivering customer outcomes, AI-powered solutions, and contributing to Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo.

Responsibilities

  • FDSE Intern: work with customers to understand issues, architect and build solutions leveraging data and AI, small agile teams, end-to-end execution and ownership over high-stakes projects.
  • Software Engineer Intern: contribute high-quality code to Palantir Gotham, Foundry, or Apollo, join a product development team and work on various product aspects (e.g., Foundry front-end, Gotham release infrastructure).

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or have received a degree in Engineering (preferably CS, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science)
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Hands-on experience applying AI (coursework, personal projects, internships, or relevant extracurricular activities)
  • Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and other technical tools
  • For USG: active U.S. security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one is required (or optional for other roles)
  • Open to freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors in college
