About the role

Lead Forward Deployed Engineer responsible for directing technical strategy and delivery of complex AI projects, with a focus on client deployments, scalable ML/AI systems, and team leadership within Faculty's Professional & Financial Services unit.

Responsibilities

  • Setting the technical direction for complex ML projects, balancing trade-offs, and guiding team priorities.

Qualifications

  • Strong Python skills with practical experience operationalising models using Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Expert in at least one major Cloud Solution Provider (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS) with experience leading teams to build full-stack web applications
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience managing and coaching a team of engineers, setting team-wide development goals
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and guide both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to estimate large work-streams and defend rationale to stakeholders
  • Technical depth with breadth to solve diverse problems
  • Excellent communication skills
