About the role

Leads platform partnerships and integration efforts for OpenAI's flagship products (Codex and ChatGPT), shaping partner strategy, negotiating commercial and technical agreements, and driving ecosystem engagement across product, engineering, and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle partnerships, from identifying and prioritizing partners to negotiating terms, closing complex agreements, and driving partner success.
  • Work directly with Product and Engineering to shape how connectors, agents, and third-party workflows function inside ChatGPT and Codex.
  • Develop ecosystem relationships to drive deeper engagement across distribution, co-marketing, and product innovation.
  • Translate partner commercial needs, technical constraints, and market dynamics into program and product recommendations, prioritization calls, and go-to-market plans
  • Bring structure to ambiguous opportunities and help the team decide where to go deep, move fast, or say no.
  • Drive aggressive timelines by clearing blockers and aligning internal and external workstreams.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product partnerships, product management, or developer relations.
  • Demonstrated success structuring and negotiating complex commercial and technical deals, with strong negotiation skills and creative solutions.
  • Excellent product and technical judgement, and experience building ecosystems or integrations for emerging products.
  • Self-driven, relationship-oriented, and adept at operating in a fast-changing environment.
  • Exceptional communication, structured thinking, and program management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced ambiguous environments.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a willingness to challenge assumptions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with product and engineering leaders and build trust with external partners.
