About the role
Director, Product Management to lead governance for identity, authentication, authorization, and related areas across UiPath's agentic platform. High-agency, AI-native role focused on crafting product direction, prototyping with coding agents, and delivering enterprise-grade governance that balances strict controls with developer velocity.
Responsibilities
- Own the multi-year vision for identity, auth, and access governance across UiPath's agentic platform.
- Evolve how identity (for agents, robots and humans) works at UiPath (provisioning, scoping, delegation, attestation, rotation, revocation) and set patterns for the platform.
- Drive the auth model for tool-calling and MCP: scoped consent, least-privilege execution, and audit trails.
- Partner with regulated customers on production deployments and diagnose specific controls failures.
- Use the platform as a builder: self-host, stand up agents, wire up auth flows, prototype with coding agents, ship reference implementations.
- Translate emerging standards (delegated OAuth for agents, verifiable credentials, MCP auth, policy engines like OPA/Cedar) into UiPath POV and product.
- Define and prioritize metrics (time-to-grant, audit coverage, policy violations, developer friction).
- Represent UiPath's governance story externally to customers, partners, and industry forums.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technical PM or engineering roles with emphasis on security engineering, identity/IAM platform work, or technical GTM; proven track record shipping enterprise-grade trust.
- Deep fluency in identity and auth: OAuth 2.x/OIDC, SAML, SCIM, JWT, mTLS, secrets management, RBAC/ABAC, policy engines, audit and SIEM integration.
- Working understanding of agentic AI (tool-calling, MCP, RAG, agent design patterns) and how identity must evolve for autonomous actors.
- Builder posture, AI-native: ability to test ideas and ship prototypes with coding agents; not just writing specs.
- First-principles thinker comfortable with ambiguity; able to produce defensible direction quickly.
- Strong communication: compelling strategy docs, technically credible explanations to CISOs, and effective demos.
- Comfortable with regulated, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
